Free shuttle service to and from

CBX Bridge and Otay Mesa border crossing

 

No shuttle service to:

  • Tijuana Airport
  • San Diego airport
  • San Ysidro border crossing

Shuttle to CBX Bridge and Otay Mesa border crossing

  • Shuttle service is provided when it is requested
  • First-come, first-served basis
  • One-on-one basis, unless otherwise noted
  • Shuttle service available during business hours.
  • Shuttle wait time is subject to traffic conditions, expected wait time is 15 minutes

Upon your return

  • Call the number printed on the parking ticket
  • Do not call the office phone number
  • Do not send a text message
  • Do not send an email
  • When you call, we need to know the number of passengers, make, model, and color of your vehicle
  • Wait time is 15 minutes or less, subject to traffic and driver availability

Estimated destination time from the parking lot to Tijuana airport through Otay Mesa border:

    • 5-7 minutes for paperwork at the parking lot
    • 5-10 minutes to drive you to the border, subject to traffic
    • 15-20 minute walk from the drop off point to the taxi stand just outside of Tijuana border gate
    • 5-10 minutes taxi drive to the airport, subject to traffic
    • In summary, add 30 to 45 minutes of transportation time to your schedule and at 30 minutes in high season or major holidays (Mexican and American holidays).
    • Suggestion; if your flight departs at 8 am, show up to the parking lot at 5:30 am or earlier for a local flight and 5 am for an international flight.

Estimated destination time from the parking lot to Tijuana airport through CBX bridge:

    • 5-7 minutes for paperwork at the parking lot
    • 5-10 minutes to drive you to the CBX bridge
    • 5-10 minutes to buy a CBX ticket if you still haven’t purchased one online
    • 5-10 minutes to fill out an immigration form (non-Mexican citizens only)
    • Fill out immigration form online, printed out and bring it with you to save time (required only for those who can’t proof Mexican citizenship)
    • Form of entry is By Air and the airport name is Aeropuerto Internacional “General Alberto L. Rodriguez”
    • 5-15 walk-time to fully walk across the CBX bridge crossing and up to an hour or more than an hour in December and major federal holidays like Thanks Giving
    • In summary, add at least 30 minutes to your itinerary in low season and at least 60 minutes in high season or major holidays
    • For example, if your flight departs at 8 am, show up to the parking lot at 5:30 am or earlier for a local flight and 5 am or earlier for flights in high season

Child and booster seats:

  • We do NOT provide child seats or booster seats.
  • Upon request, we are happy to use your own child or booster seat for your child or children, but we do not set it up for you.
  • We will bring it back to your car after we drop you off.

If this is a concern for you, you might want to first drop your passengers off. We will drive you back to the CBX or Otay Mesa border crossing. The same process could be implemented on your return.

 

Luggage restrictions

Iceboxes:

  • One or two large or smaller iceboxes are okay, but more than two large boxes are not permitted.
  • You would need to drop them off first. We do not lift, load, or unload empty or loaded iceboxes.

Surfboards:

  • One or two large or smaller surfboards are okay, but for more than that, you would have to drop them off first.
  • We do not provide straps or ropes, nor do we tie down surfboards.

Luggage:

  • We use a Toyota Sienna and a passenger van to provide the transportation service.
  • The amount of luggage we are able to transport is limited to the space provided in the trunk of our Toyota Sienna.
  • If you think that you will exceed the maximum luggage capacity available in the shuttle vehicle, it is recommended that you drop off passengers and luggage first.
  • We assist with your luggage but we also reserve the right to decline luggage assistance when the luggage is too heavy, precious, expensive, fragile, or difficult to handle.

 

Pet restrictions

  • Pets are allowed in the shuttle vehicle, small pets.
  • Ask us first.
  • You are welcome to first drop off passengers and pets.
